Question 1

Can I redesign my home entirely online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You share photos or a walkthrough video, tell us your style and budget, and our designers deliver your design digitally. No in-person appointment is required.

Question 2

Do I need to hire an in-person designer?

Accepted Answer

Not for the design itself. For construction, you will still work with a licensed local contractor, and our documents are prepared to help that conversation.

Question 3

How do I record my room?

Accepted Answer

Walk slowly around the room's perimeter holding your phone horizontally. Capture each corner, every door and window, where the floor meets the walls and the ceiling meets the walls, and any fixed fixtures or appliances.

Question 4

Can I use an Android phone or an iPhone?

Accepted Answer

Either works. Any recent smartphone camera is enough for photos and walkthrough video. If your iPhone or iPad has LiDAR, you can also share an export from a compatible scanning app.

Question 5

Can you get exact measurements from my video?

Accepted Answer

No. Ordinary video is excellent for understanding a room, but it is not reliable for exact dimensions. We ask for key measurements (length, width, ceiling height, doors and windows), or a floor plan or room scan, and we mark which dimensions are verified.

Question 6

What files will I receive?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your package. Concept includes a mood board, layout and shopping list. Signature adds photorealistic 3D renderings, a dimensioned floor plan and a design book. Renovation adds elevations, cabinetry and lighting plans, and CAD files on eligible projects.

Question 7

Are the drawings suitable for my contractor?

Accepted Answer

Our plans and elevations are designed to communicate layout, finishes and dimensions clearly to a contractor. Your contractor should verify all site conditions before building.

Question 8

Are the drawings permit-ready?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not provide stamped, engineered or permit-ready drawings. Projects involving structural, major plumbing or electrical changes may require a licensed architect or engineer in your state.

Question 9

Can I request revisions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each package includes a set number of revision rounds: one for Concept, two for Signature and three for Renovation.

Question 10

How long does design take?

Accepted Answer

Timelines depend on scope and are confirmed in your quote before you pay. We will not promise a date until we have reviewed your space.

Question 11

What happens after I submit my request?

Accepted Answer

A member of our team reviews your request and replies by email with next steps and, where possible, a quote. Submitting is free and creates no obligation.

Question 12

Can I remodel one room rather than the whole house?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Most projects start with a single room. You can add more rooms later.
